**Job Title: Assembler** 1st - 5:45am - 2:30 pm - up to $19 2nd - 2:30 - 10:30pm - up to $21 **Job Description** As an Assembler, you will support production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines. You will apply job skills and company policies to complete various tasks and acquire a working knowledge of product flow and the impact of quality. You will work on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment, and will receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments. Operating within established policies and procedures, you will seek approval for any deviations. **Responsibilities** + Read and document instructions for specific jobs daily. + Perform in-house quality checks and report any defects following the 'see something, say something' policy. + Utilize basic hand tools such as flat head screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and Philips screwdrivers. + Train to understand the functions of each job, as there can be 1-20 functions depending on the work instructions. + Work in positions that may require sitting or standing, with certain lines requiring standing. + Assist in cross-training focus factory members as instructed. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience. + Proficiency with basic hand and power tools. + Ability to read and write effectively. + Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly. + Basic computer skills and experience with documentation. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
