The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children's Hospital. Additionally, U.S. News & World Report ranked the hospital #2 in the St. Louis metro area. **Preferred Qualifications** **Role Purpose** Participates in educational activities and provides services in the residency/clinical fellowship program as outlined in the Graduate Education Consortium Operating Principles. **Responsibilities** + Provides clinical service commensurate with level of advancement and responsibilities and under appropriate supervision. + Performs clinical services only at sites specifically approved by the Program and, under circumstances, at locations covered by the professional liability insurance maintained for the resident by the Hospital or School of Medicine as appropriate. + Cooperates fully with the Program, School of Medicine and Hospital in coordinating and completing required documentation. + Develops and follows a personal program of self-study and professional growth under guidance of the Program's teaching faculty. + Maintains and schedules Core Curriculum, annual schedules, as well as scheduling of continuing medical education conferences for the hospital community.
