Job Title: Data Scientist Location: Redwood City, CA (Onsite) Mode: Contract - W2

Job Summary: C3 AI is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team in Redwood City, CA. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI techniques to solve complex business problems and derive actionable insights from large-scale data sets. This is an on-site, long-term contract role.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models to address business challenges.
Analyze large, structured and unstructured datasets to extract insights and patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
Design and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
Perform statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling.
Communicate findings and insights through visualizations and presentations to non-technical stakeholders.
Stay current with emerging AI/ML techniques and recommend best practices for adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
Proven experience as a Data Scientist, ideally in enterprise AI or SaaS environments.
Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages.
Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
Strong statistical analysis and modeling skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AI/ML solutions in industrial or enterprise applications.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
