Job Title: Insurance Sales Agent
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Insurance Sales Agent to join our client to support customers in selecting the best coverage options for their needs while driving company growth through exceptional service and consultative sales. In this role, you’ll connect with potential clients over the phone, provide expert guidance on insurance products, and deliver tailored recommendations that protect what matters most. Compensation:
$37,440 – $44,180 annually (based on experience) + uncapped commission
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM EST, with one Saturday per month (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST).
This position follows a hybrid schedule—employees will work in-office three (3) days per week and remote two (2) days per week following initial training.
Key Responsibilities of the Insurance Sales Agent:
Engage with inbound callers to understand their insurance needs, provide quotes, and close sales across various product lines.
Deliver exceptional service by building trust, educating customers on policy options, and ensuring a seamless experience from quote to sale.
Leverage cross-sell and upsell opportunities by identifying complementary products that align with customer goals.
Manage multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and accuracy during customer interactions.
Participate actively in ongoing training and development programs to maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, systems, and licensing requirements.
Qualifications and Skills for the Insurance Sales Agent:
At least 1 year of sales experience in retail, hospitality, call center, or a related field.
Proven success meeting or exceeding performance goals and sales metrics.
Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex information.
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty (P&C) license within 90 days of hire (training and sponsorship provided).
Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
