Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our Client's manufacturing team in Jonesboro, Arkansas. This role is responsible for operating production equipment while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Start, stop, and operate assigned production equipment efficiently and safely
Clear machine jams and maintain proper material supply to ensure continuous operation
Monitor product quality at various stages of production and perform routine inspections
Complete all required quality checks and production documentation accurately
Ensure all safety guards and devices are in place and functioning properly
Report unsafe conditions immediately and maintain a clean, safe work area
Perform basic machine maintenance and routine cleaning of equipment and surrounding areas
Accurately complete production-related paperwork, including downtime logs and batch records
Assist team members as needed and participate in machine changeovers and contribute to a high-performance work culture.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and support a high-performance team culture
Previous machine operator experience required
Basic troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve minor issues
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
Must have HS Diploma or GED
