The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care, including patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning, within a Pediatric Critical Care setting. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as proficiency in EPIC EMR. The RN must be willing to float to inpatient areas as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit (PICU).
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress.
- Float to inpatient areas as required.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and order entry.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Pediatric Critical Care (PICU) experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- PALS certification required.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Recent PICU experience within the past year.
- Travel experience.
- EPIC EMR experience.
Special Considerations:
- Must be open to floating to inpatient areas.
- Overtime is optional but not required.

- 12-hour night shifts.
