Staff Accountant (Entry Level)
Location: Irving, TX 75039 | Onsite Location Irving, TX | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $20–$24/hour
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
ROLE IMPACT: This entry-level Staff Accountant role supports the daily and monthly accounting operations of the organization. Your work will directly contribute to accurate financial reporting, efficient receivables tracking, and timely member communications, ensuring the organization's financial integrity and responsiveness to its stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts monthly to ensure accuracy of balance sheet items
• Post daily cash receipts from multiple platforms into the accounting system
• Prepare and enter journal entries for recurring and ad hoc adjustments
• Maintain reports and support monthly close process
• Field incoming calls and emails from members and assist with account-related inquiries
• Perform administrative functions including scanning, filing, and document preparation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1+ year of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions
